TER APEL – Owners of more than 130 Dafjes, in all shapes and sizes, enjoy a long weekend at the campsites with many activities.
Daffies from London
The day before yesterday the first Dafjes drove through the village and yesterday the vast majority were packed with tents or even a caravan. Two participants from London also came to Ter Apel especially for this occasion; they have been on the road for two days.
Oval circuit
The Ovalracing spectators were pleasantly surprised by the invasion of Dafjes. After more than three laps there was an opportunity to press the gas (slightly) deeper and there was a lot of response.
Westerwolde tour
On Friday there will be a ‘broezn’ tour through Westerwolde, passing Laudermarke, Sellingen and Wedde. If you encounter them, give them a wave or give them a thumbs up.
The Daf Club
Dafclub Nederland has more than 3,200 members, making it one of the largest car clubs in the Netherlands. Last year, 500 new members registered, many of them young. The high cuddliness factor of the Dutch car, the technology, the sense of solidarity and the events attract many new members. The club was founded in 1980. The club magazine Variomatic is published four times a year. The club organizes events, appraisal days, has its own parts warehouse and a webshop. There are many enthusiasts with technical knowledge to keep Dutch heritage on the road.
