Marja Heuckeroth, Gordon’s sister, finds it very annoying that Gordon and Gavin have split up again after a short-lived love affair. She did warn her brother before to “pay a little attention” when she heard that Gavin had previously had a relationship with a much older man.
“We sympathize with him and we are there for him like family. I cried hard that it didn’t work out”, Marja Heuckeroth responds to the break RTL Boulevard. Marja also does not know what exactly happened between Gordon and Gavin. She knew that Gordon was only in Australia for a day and that the trip was “one big disappointment.” “I didn’t even know what I heard.”
When Marja discovered that Gavin had a relationship with a much older man in the past, she decided to warn her brother. Gordon is too good for people. As a family, we’ve said a hundred thousand times that he shouldn’t open his wallet for everyone.”
Terrified
Marja doesn’t worry about Gordon’s mental health. “I’m not afraid of him jumping off a flat. Gordon is good at putting things into perspective,” she explains. However, Gordon would be ‘terrified’ that ‘everyone will step on him’. “He doesn’t deserve that. He’s a sensitive man who’s going through a lot of grief right now, so let’s all be a little extra kind to him.”
Gordon confirmed the split between him and Gavin Rozario, 24 years his junior, on Wednesday afternoon. On Instagram, the presenter wrote that he could “only shed tears” about the broken relationship, but he “just kept going”. The entertainer was supported by his famous friends. For example, Don Diablo, Glennis Grace and Ellemieke Vermolen sent him hearts. “Keep strong, you are a beautiful person,” his fans wrote.
