Girona took a giant step towards a ticket for the group stage of the Champions League on Saturday. Daley Blind’s team won 0-2 at Las Palmas and can hardly avoid the million-dollar ball.
Girona got away well in the opening phase in the Estadio de Gran Canaria. Sandro Ramirez saved a penalty on behalf of the home team after just eight minutes.
