Karel Gerlach, one of the three Goldband singers, confirms the rumors that he is dating Maan. “I’m in love,” he told ANP. The singer does not want to call it a relationship yet. “We’re just having a good time together.”
Maan was on stage today as a surprise during the performance of Goldband at Lowlands. The singer sang along with the song I Hate You. When she left, the crowd cheered loudly as she gave Karel a hug.
His colleagues Boaz Kok and Milo Driessen are enthusiastic about the match. “They are fucking fun together,” Milo says. Boaz goes one step further: “They are going to get married and have children.”
The Hague Goldband has three members: Gerlach, Milo Driessen and Boaz Kok. Three years ago they all plastered walls, now they are on the main stages of the biggest festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium.
