Sergio Perez is still unsure about his future in Formula 1. His contract with Red Bull Racing expires after this year, but there is no rush to extend the deal. Antonio Perez Garibay assumes that his son will soon sign a new contract, and he states that Perez is the most sought-after driver of the moment.
Perez has started the new season well. The Mexican driver has not made a mistake in the first five races, and Red Bull is very satisfied with him. Perez has already stated several times that he wants to extend his contract as soon as possible. At Red Bull they do not want to meet that requirement, because they want to wait a little longer. Yet people in Mexico have a lot of confidence in the future.
