The football players of FC Twente have to wait a little longer for the national title. Due to Ajax’s 3-0 win on Thursday evening in the remainder of the match against AZ, the Tukkers’ title celebration has been postponed for at least a week.
Without playing themselves, FC Twente could be crowned champions on Thursday if Ajax did not win against AZ. Things did not seem to turn out that way at De Toekomst Sports Complex for a moment.
