In its team of the week, Algemeen Dagblad has chosen a team that consists entirely of PSV players. The Eindhoven team managed to impress on Thursday evening when they visited SC Heerenveen (0-8 win) and received a massive reward for this.

In the paper newspaper of the Algemeen Dagblad, but also of the Eindhovens Dagblad, it can be seen on Monday morning that the team of the week (round 31) consists entirely of PSV players. For example, goalkeeper Walter Benítez has been included in the best team of this round, as well as attackers Johan Bakayoko, Luuk de Jong and Malik Tillman.

It means that players from Feyenoord and AZ – two clubs that managed to win a difficult away match in the last round – are not included in the team of the week. The selection consists entirely of PSV players and three mainstays from Peter Bosz’s team can count on the highest grade. Joey Veerman, Jerdy Schouten and Tillman all received an eight for their performance in and against Heerenveen.

PSV will attempt to extend the expiring contract of a basic player.
