The Reggeborgh Foundation will be the new main sponsor of FC Twente Women from the new 2024-2025 season. This is a mega deal, because a contract has been concluded for no less than ten years. The Rijssen investment company will thus become the successor to Future of Twente, which was the main sponsor for three years. They hope to say goodbye to the title on Sunday.

“As a partner of Future of Twente, we have already experienced from the sidelines over the past three years how women’s football has developed and made enormous strides,” said Inge Wessels of Reggeborgh Foundation on the club website. “We strongly believe in the potential of women’s football and look forward to continuing to support that professionalization in the coming years.”

“The team is a wonderful showcase for the emerging generation of girls playing football in the region. Our collaboration will also be aimed at making connections between FC Twente Women and the ambition of girls in this sport. In the coming years, various football clinics will be held at organized by the amateur associations in the region. Of course we hope that the positive trend will continue in the Netherlands and Europe,” Wessels concludes.

The Reggeborgh Foundation has its own skating team and also supports top talent and medical scientific research at (academic) hospitals. “A healthy future for everyone is one of our motivations in which we strive for innovation and progress in the medical sector and for a sporting generation. We do this by entering into multi-year partnerships in which the connecting power of sports, medical innovations and the personal involvement from the foundation can be utilized.”
