Apple is releasing a feature for the Vision Pro in beta on Tuesday that will allow users to watch videos and games together with other users. The feature is opt-in and is called Spatial Persona. It was already known that this position would come.

The feature places other users in a fixed spot in the user’s space, Apple says. By default, Personas are in a 2D surface, but if users want, it is possible to activate the 3D version, RoadToVR writes. The 3D avatars then move through space, just as they move through their own physical space.

In addition, it is possible to watch the same apps and consume content at the same time, which makes watching videos and playing games together possible. There can be a maximum of five people in the same room. You can’t get too close to another avatar, because then they turn into a floating contact photo. Mixing regular Personas and Spatial Personas in the same meeting is possible.

The feature will be in beta for the foreseeable future. It is unknown when the stable version will be released. The Vision Pro was released in the United States in February. It will be released in China later this year, but nothing is known yet about a release in the Netherlands and Belgium.
