Apple is failing so hard here that every other day we hear a rumor about how cool they secretly are. (disclaimer: I have everything from Apple, laptop, mini, iPhone, watch, TV, iPad)

Apple simply missed the boat. When it comes to AI, they were still doing machine learning while the rest were trying to market the power of Gen AI. How can you seriously have Siri as a product while you have ChatGPT? The fact that they are still ‘in discussions with’ major AI parties such as Google (Gemini) and OpenAI also indicates that the upcoming iOS will simply be a bummer. They have been able to rely on the fact that everyone enjoyed working together for a long time, but now they are reaching the point where they are simply falling too far behind.

But it’s not all negative! Fortunately, they have finally committed some crucial resources to create the long-awaited calculator app for iPadOS! (no joke, the iPad doesn’t have a calculator app ).

I switched to Apple when they came out with the M-chip (still very happy with it), but in terms of ease of use they are already miles behind.
