The incredibly popular series about Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) can be viewed in its entirety on Netflix from today!
Sex and the City
Until recently, the adventures of friends Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda could only be seen on HBO MAXbut that has changed as of today. The New York Times told us a while ago that we can enjoy the hit series on Netflix from April, and today is the day! Yes, you heard it right: time for a marathon with all your friends!
But what is the reason that the series is suddenly available on Netflix? That has everything to do with the deal that Warner Bros. closed last year with Netflix.
And Just Like That…
Sex and the City is still immensely popular in 2024. A spin-off was even made of the series, which is still running.
We last saw Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in the film in 2010 Sex and the City 2. The ladies are now in their fifties and the New Yorkers have reportedly kissed a number of friendships goodbye, as can be seen in And Just Like That…. Of course, it also shows what the friends have been up to in the meantime and what else is going on in their lives.
Season 3
Even before the final episode of season two could be streamed, the creators of And Just Like That… good news in August. There will be a third season of the series, as could be read on the official Instagram And Just Like That… and Stream on Max.
In a promo that streaming service HBO Max shared a while ago, it was announced that the new season of the series will be shown in 2025! The video announces which titles are expected in 2024 and 2025 AJLT is therefore planned for 2025. An exact date has not yet been announced.
Naturally, fans were hoping for a third season, but as the final season drew to a close, many thought it would be just two seasons. The story seemed to resonate with everyone happy ending to come. Carrie is back together with her great love Aiden, Charlotte is back working in an art gallery, and Miranda seems to be her old self again back in business with a great job, Stanford has found happiness as a monk and Anthony also has a new love.
We’ll see what the new season has in store for us in 2025! Fortunately, we can first while away our time with Sex and the City on Netflix!
