Several accidents on Wednesday morning meant that traffic in Limburg had to expect delays at several places on the A2.
Things went wrong in both directions on the A2 around eight o’clock. An accident occurred in both north and south directions. At Born the left lane was closed and there was a delay of more than fifteen minutes. This was also the case in a northerly direction near the Kruisdonk junction. The delay there was more than ten minutes.
It is not known what exactly happened in the traffic accidents and whether there were any injuries.
The most delays were in the direction of Eindhoven. Between Nederweert and Maarheeze, traffic had to expect delays of almost half an hour. According to the local news site WeertdeGekste, a truck and a car collided near Maarheeze around a quarter to seven.
The motorist was checked by ambulance personnel, but did not have to be taken to hospital. A tow truck towed the car. The road has now been reopened.
