Updated prices and release dates for LEGO Star Wars Summer 2024 sets

The latest rumors suggest some small but notable changes to both pricing and global release dates for LEGO Star Wars Summer 2024.

While 2024 is the year LEGO Star Wars celebrates its 25th anniversary, it was always going to be a big year with new sets coming out on the theme. Over the summer dozens of sets have now been confirmed and rumored to be on their way and now the latest rumors are being reported via Clay_Bricks on reddit suggesting that some upcoming rumored sets will be priced and released differently than originally thought.

This includes some higher prices than originally reported, with 75385 Battle on Peridea now reportedly costing $54.99, where it was previously $49.99, and 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon changing from $169.99 to $179.99. However, there are also some slightly lower prices on the horizon: 75396 Escape from the Sarlacc drops from $89.99 to $79.99 and 75398 Buildable C-3PO drops from $149.99 to $139.99.

Last but not least, there’s a new price for 75374 Onyx Cinder, which is now believed to cost $139.99, while it was first reported for $129.99. Additionally, 75374 Onyx Cinder is now expected to release in August, instead of June in the EU and other regions around the world.

Speaking of release dates, the latest rumors suggest that many LEGO Star Wars summer sets could arrive in the United States in August, instead of June as initially thought. This isn’t necessarily a delay; In fact, it’s not uncommon to see summer releases on different themes, although this is relatively rare for LEGO Star Wars.

It’s worth noting that everything reported above and even the existence of unconfirmed sets should be taken with a grain of salt for now. Until we get an official reveal from the LEGO Group, we won’t know exactly what’s planned for LEGO Star Wars for the rest of the year.
