This week Sandra Ysbrandy makes an apple bread in Cooking with Sandra. With almond flour, oat flakes and unsweetened almond milk. A nutritious snack for on the go, for example!

Ingredients, for 10 slices

  • 200 grams of almond flour
  • 100 grams of oat flakes
  • 0.5 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon gingerbread spices
  • 50 grams of raisins
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 milliliters of unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 apples (e.g. Elstar)
  • 1 lemon

Supplies

Preparation method apple bread

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Mix the almond flour, oat flakes, baking powder, gingerbread spices, raisins, eggs, almond milk and a pinch of salt in a food processor or blender into a smooth batter.

Cut the apples into small cubes and stir into the batter. Grate the yellow zest of the lemon above and stir.

Line a cake tin with baking paper and spoon the batter into it. Bake the bread in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
