Based on experience and force majeure. Roeselare has won its 15th title in the Lotto Volley League in the lion’s den. Seppe Rotty pounds his way through the Maaseik block.

Also in the second set, hard fighting took the upper hand over the frivolous play. That resulted in an even and intense title final.

Until setter Stijn D’Hulst made the difference with a cat-like reflex – with his foot. Roeselare gained confidence from the good point for 18-02 and pushed through.

Maaseik, which continued to sputter offensively at times, felt the mood again. A sturdy three-man wall decided the end of set 2: 20-25. The West Flemish could already smell their 4th title in a row.

The 15th triumph in total, the 4th in a row for the West Flemish. Then unapproachable at the end of the ride.
