Last week, Ajax O18 officially became champions in the spring competition due to the 3-2 loss of direct competitor Feyenoord O18 against Vitesse O18. After a 1-3 victory against Feyenoord O18, Ajax O18 could no longer avoid the national title, but due to the loss of the Rotterdam team it is now official. In a decisive match, Ajax O18 will face AZ O18 for the overall championship, in which the Amsterdam talents can also secure Youth League football for next season.
Frank Pereboom’s team is working on a strong series in the spring competition. The last five competition matches were all won and Ajax O18 has now also been crowned spring champion. It is not yet known when the decisive match will be played against AZ’s peers. If Ajax O18 manages to win against FC Utrecht O18, this decisive match will be played at Sportpark de Toekomst.
