The adventure in the VTM Special Forces program was short-lived for Nora Gharib. After half a day full of intense challenges and a confrontation with her fears, she decided to stop the fight. “My daughter needs me,” she explained.

The start of Special Forces was immediately tough. The candidates were dropped into the sea in rough waves, where Nora Gharib soon ended up in trouble. She swallowed a lot of seawater and fought against panic. “I thought things could seriously go wrong,” she said. “A lot has changed since I became a mother. Everything is based on my daughter. I kept getting flashes of her in my head. She only has one mother. I already want to go back home. I don’t want this anymore.”

With the help of the safety divers, Nora reached the beach, but her body and mind were broken. The next assignment turned out to be too difficult. “I’m not willing to give up the feeling that you’re going to die.”
