Marian was robbed by Mariana, her right hand at her real estate office.
Theft
The Portuguese woman, who worked as a manager of Marian’s real estate agency, defrauded her of almost 90,000 euros and ordered her boyfriend Fabio to kill her. The investigation has been with the police for a year and a half, but there seems to be little progress in the case. Kees and Marian decide to visit Mariana at home, but are unsuccessful the first time.
The next day they proceed even more carefully. To not stand out, Marian wears a black wig and sunglasses. They park the car close to Mariana’s house again. They sit down on a terrace and soon see movement. “Is that hair?” asks Kees. That appears to be the case. “Now we have to go there, come,” says Marian. Kees runs ahead.
Confrontation
“Are you Mariana?” he asks the woman. “That depends on who asks,” she answers. Then Marian arrives. “I know her. I don’t know why she has a wig on.” Kees tells Mariana that Marian still gets a lot of money from her. “What are you talking about? I’m not going to talk to you about this,” she answers in the negative.
