Pavel Malkov, governor of the Ryazan region, which borders the Moscow region to the northwest, said there were no injuries in the drone strikes there. The Russian Telegram channel Baza, which is affiliated with Russian authorities, reported that the attack caused a fire at the Ryazan oil refinery.

Previous attack

The refinery, owned and operated by Rosneft, refines about 5.8 percent of Russia’s total refined crude oil. The refinery has previously been the target of Ukrainian airstrikes. A fire also broke out at the oil refinery in mid-March when it was attacked by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone.

In addition to the attack on the oil refinery, attacks are also reported in the Kursk and Voronezh regions. According to governors of those regions, no damage occurred there and no casualties occurred.
