Going out in the spring means enjoying the blossoming nature, trees and forest, meadows and fields and historic estates such as Doorwerth Castle. To make such a day out extra special, enjoyers can now also participate in a delicious lunch package and castle visit in the company of friends, family or partners.
Burgundian lunch
In the attractive Koetshuis, visitors enjoy a ‘Burgundian’ lunch from castle café De Zalmen in the spring with delicious regional products and artisanal delicacies. Satisfied and with new energy, guests enter the medieval castle after lunch and experience the rich history of the estate. A walk through the vegetable garden or strolling through the floodplains or forests on the moraine complete the experience. Doorwerth Castle is a Kids-proof museum and has a nice range of activities and treasure hunts for little visitors.
Date: Until June 30, 2024 on Saturday and Sunday. Visit the website for current information and exceptions. Lunch starts: 12:00 noon. Entrance: adults €35.00, child 4 to 18 years €20.00. Museum card holders and donors € 29.50, child MK and donors € 15.00. Tickets include lunch and castle visit, last castle entrance 4:00 PM. Participation is only possible with a pre-reserved ticket for the package.
Did you know that Cannenburch Castle, Doorwerth Castle and Hernen Castle will also be Kidsproof in 2024? Children pay a lower entrance fee. And Museum Annual Card holders can enter for free upon presentation of their pass.
