The word is out: the Jeep Avenger is the Car of the Year 2023. The very first fully electric car from the American brand has just received the award.
That all happened at the Brussels Motor Show, which is currently taking place. The Jeep Avenger kept up with the Peugeot 408, Toyota bZ4X/Subaru Solterra, Nissan Ariya, Renault Austral, Volkswagen ID. Buzz and Kia Niro behind them.

With that, an electric car wins again, although the Jeep Avenger will eventually also appear on the market with combustion engines. The model shares its technology with cars like the Peugeot 2008 and Opel Mokka. They are available with a fully electric powertrain, as well as with petrol and diesel engines.
Is the Jeep Avenger just one of the many cars from the Stellantis series that only differ in terms of design and dimensions? Not quite, because Jeep has ensured that the Avenger can really bear the Jeep name. For example, it has greater ground clearance than its technical brothers and has terrain modes developed by Jeep. The Avenger can also fast charge with a maximum of 100 kW.
