Tesla launches Model 3 Performance and this is what it costs in the Netherlands

--

Tesla has announced its new Model 3 Performance. The electric car costs less than you might think given its performance on paper.

The Tesla Model 3 Performance has a power of more than 460 hp and sprints from 0 to 100 in just 3.1 seconds. You can reach a maximum of 262 kilometers per hour with this car. The estimated driving range is 528 kilometers, according to Tesla.

Also present are adaptive suspensions, sports seats, 20-inch wheels and ‘high-performance’ brakes, which Tesla claims are suitable for the track. On the outside, the car gets a new design at the front and rear, as well as a carbon fiber spoiler and a diffuser to make the Tesla Model 3 more aerodynamic.

The price

What is especially striking is the price. The Tesla Model 3 Performance has a starting price of 56,990 euros in the Netherlands. That is only 7,000 euros more than the Long Range AWD and 15,000 euros more than the standard Model 3. Tesla also lowered the price of the regular Tesla Model 3 by 2,000 euros in the Netherlands on Monday.

The Tesla Model 3 Performance can be pre-ordered on Tesla’s website. The company expects to deliver the first units in May or June.

For the Enhanced Autopilot driver assistance system you pay an extra 3,800 euros and if you want Full Self-Driving it costs 7,500 euros.
