Fifteen reports have been filed in a case in which dozens of Dutch celebrities and public figures fell victim to deepfake porn videos circulating on the internet. A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service confirmed reports about this by the Public Prosecution Service on Thursday A.D.

According to the newspaper, Dutch authorities have taken important measures against the website that distributed the videos. Dozens of videos of celebrities and MPs are said to have been taken offline. However, there are still videos online of actresses and presenters of NOS, RTL and SBS6, according to the A.D.

Victims say they have not yet heard anything from the Public Prosecution Service (OM), but are pleased that most images on Platform S. have been taken offline.

According to it A.D other victims who did not go to the police tried other routes. For example, via a private investigation agency or via the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This has worked for most, the newspaper writes, but not for all.
