Ring will launch a new camera at the end of May that can both rotate and tilt to capture different angles and doorways. The camera is intended for indoor use, films in HD quality and offers color night vision.
The new product is called ‘Rotate and tilt indoor camera’ and will be available from May 30. The camera is available in black, white and pink and costs 80 euros. Like other Ring cameras, the pan and tilt camera can show live images and motion notifications in the Ring app. Two-way speech is also possible.
Ring’s Pan and Tilt Indoor Camera can rotate 360 degrees horizontally and tilt up to 169 degrees vertically. This allows the same camera to capture different angles and doorways. The camera has a manual privacy cover, which can be used to turn video and audio recording on and off, Ring reports.
