Ryanair opens new route from Eindhoven Airport

--

Ryanair flew for the first time last Friday afternoon between Eindhoven Airport and Tangier, a city in the north of Morocco.

The Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EFX, took off at 12:05, just over half an hour later than planned, in a south-westerly direction. The plane flew to its destination via Belgium, France and Spain. South of the latter country, the Ryanair machine started its descent. After a flight of just under three hours, it landed at Tangier airport.

Flight schedule Eindhoven-Tanger

Ryanair flies (for the time being) between Eindhoven and the Moroccan city on both Tuesdays and Saturdays. On Tuesday, outbound flight FR8621 departs from Tangier at 2:35 PM local time and is expected at North Brabant airport at 6:45 PM. The return flight, FR8620, will take off at 7:15 PM and arrive in Morocco at 9:25 PM. On Saturday, the outbound flight departs at 6:30 am local time under the same flight number. The Ryanair plane is expected to arrive in Eindhoven at 10:40 am. The FR8621 then continues its route to Tangier at 11:25 am, after which it is expected to arrive there at 1:35 pm. Ryanair has the choice of using both its 737-800 and 737 MAX aircraft on this route.

Destination outside Europe

Ryanair is a major user of Eindhoven Airport. The airline connects the airport with European cities such as Bologna, Madrid, Rome, Naples and Edinburgh. In addition, the Irish airline also flies to destinations outside Europe. The Moroccan cities of Fez and Marrakesh can already be found in the network low-cost carrier and Tangier joins them. ‘Ryanair is pleased to officially launch our first flight from Eindhoven to Tangier. This route will operate four times a week from today, May 4, offering our travelers in Eindhoven even more choice at the lowest fares,” Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s head of communications, said in a statement.
