In that two-part documentary, which will be broadcast on May 6 and 7 on the British channel Channel 4, ten men accuse the 64-year-old Spacey of sexual violence.

The actor – known for films like AmericanBeauty and the popular series House of Cards – was fired in 2017 after multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. The political series continued without leading actor Spacey, for the film All the Money in the World all scenes with Spacey were hastily refilmed with a new actor.

The documentary contains new allegations against Spacey, who said on Thursday via X that he had asked the channel if he could be given a week to respond to the accusations. Channel 4 is said to have refused that request.

In an online interview, the actor called the documentary one-sided and said it was a ‘desperate attempt’ by Channel 4 to generate viewing figures.

At the end of July last year, Spacey was acquitted in London of multiple charges of sexual misconduct. Spacey has always denied allegations against him.
