Several well-known Dutch people will reflect on the death of artist manager Hans van der Veen on Saturday. Quinty Trustfull, Anouk Smulders and Robert Doornbos, among others, have posted messages on social media in which they commemorate Van der Veen.

Presenter Trustfull writes with some photos of her and Van der Veen that they have known each other for decades. “We go back 33 years, my friend and manager and so much more,” she wrote. Trustfull is grateful to have had the manager in her life. “Today we said a beautiful and loving farewell, that was so beautiful, especially Hans.”

Van der Veen was also the manager of Moïse Trustfull, Quinty’s daughter. She also looks back on the collaboration on Instagram. “You have been in my life for as long as I can remember and I cannot imagine life without you,” she wrote. Former motorsport driver Doornbos shares, among other things, a photo of a card surrounded by candles, in which Van der Veen is tagged. He also posted a photo of himself raising a glass with Van der Veen, among others. “You’re going to be missed, Hans,” he writes.

Model Anouk Smulders shares on Instagram that she has worked with Van der Veen for fourteen years. “You provided guidance, confidence and ALWAYS your honest opinion,” said Smulders. Former model and businesswoman Marvy Rieder shares looking back on her time with Van der Veen “with great gratitude”. “Because life with Hans is much more fun!” she writes. Photographer and former model Paulien Huizinga also shares a message about the Van der Veen in which she says goodbye to her “source of information” and “support and support”.
