Petra Mede

54-year-old Petra is not only known in Sweden as a presenter, but is also an actress and comedienne. In 2009 she even won the title of ‘best comedienne in Sweden’.

Petra is also no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest stage. In 2013 and 2016 she was also responsible for the presentation of the song festival. In 2013 she did this alone and in 2016 she presented together with Måns Zelmerlöw. Måns won the singing competition the year before.

Malin Åkerman

45-year-old Malin Åkerman is a Swedish-American model. Although she was born in Stockholm, Canada is her home base. She grew up there and her career as a model blossomed. At seventeen she won a modeling competition. As a result, Malin appeared in several commercials and started acting.

However, it was not until 2005 that the general public was introduced to the model. Then she scored a role in the series The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow. In total, Malin has appeared in about 50 films, including The Proposal en The Heartbreak Kid.

She has never presented before. The Eurovision Song Contest will therefore be her first time.

Petra and Malin will present both semi-finals and the final together. The semi-finals will take place on Tuesday 7 and Thursday 9 May in Mälmo, Sweden. The final kicks off on Saturday, May 11.
