This weekend marks forty years since King Felipe, then Crown Prince of Spain, took the oath on the flag.
He repeated it again at the Military Academy in Zaragoza, where his daughter Leonor has been following military training since August 2023.

During the ceremony, everyone stuck to their role. Felipe walked around as commander-in-chief, Letizia was at his side in a very light blue suit from Hugo Boss and the Crown Princess marched with the other cadets.
And then it’s funny that Letizia, like any other proud mother, looks around to see exactly where her daughter is walking among all those identically dressed cadets.
Filipe is a proud father
Only after everything was over could they meet privately. In itself a break with protocol, because the other parents of the first-year students were not present, but they still enjoyed it.
Leonor
Leonor wore the uniform she wore for her own oath to the flag. The princess’s first year at the military academy is over and she will start her second year in the navy or air force after the summer.
Summer is coming again, will the Spanish Queen Letizia be spotted again with so-called ‘peep holes’ in her clothing?
