This weekend, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain visited the Military Academy in Zaragoza. The anniversary of King Felipe’s military promotion was commemorated there. Daughter Leonor is currently training at the same academy, so a small reunion with her parents was of course inevitable.
During the meeting, King Felipe swore allegiance to the Spanish flag for the third time. He previously did this in 1985, when he started his training, and in 2010, when he was still Prince of Asturias. By swearing to the flag, a person promises to be devoted and loyal to his country. Daughter Leonor has also proven her loyalty to her country, she did so in the autumn of 2023.

Reunification
The Spanish Princess Leonor started her training at the Military Academy last summer and since then she will have seen her parents a lot less than before. And although this weekend was not about a reunion with their parents for the rest of the cadets, when you are a princess it is slightly different. After the ceremonial program, father Felipe, mother Letizia and daughter Leonor came together. And that was of course captured on camera.

Parents and daughter were briefly reunited.
Queen Letizia wore a light blue suit with black pumps underneath for the occasion. King Felipe and Princess Leonor were of course wearing their military uniforms. In the evening the three went out for dinner in Zaragoza. For dinner, Queen Letizia had exchanged her suit for a black dress.
This is not the first time that the Spanish princess has been visited by her parents at the Military Academy. Earlier this year, her father visited the base in San Gregorio, where he watched military training and joined the cadets for lunch.
