On Tuesday, March 26, Prof. Dr. Maartje Schermer gave a lunch lecture on disease as a practical concept due to her retirement as a member of the Health Council. This concept is far from clear and there are many different definitions, concepts and models in circulation. In the lecture, Schermer showed how we can deal with this pluralism in a pragmatic way, and above all: where and why this really matters in practice.
