Glennis Grace is feeling better and better “after a long period of uncertainty”. On Friday, the singer released her own song for the first time after the Jumbo incident. On Instagram she thanks everyone who has supported her lately.

The 45-year-old singer was convicted of violence in a Jumbo supermarket at the end of 2022. Grace was sentenced to two hundred hours of community service.

In an earlier interview, the singer said that she did not feel that the conviction ruined her career. She did say that the lawsuit had certain consequences for her. For example, many of her performances and collaborations were canceled. In addition, the singer says she lost many friends.

“In recent days I have received so much support from my fans who have always pulled me through the toughest storms and continued to stand behind me,” Grace wrote. She also thanks her own team for their confidence at a time when “no one else dared to go”.

The artist is “even” grateful to the media, now that they are writing and saying “nice things” about her again. “After a long period of uncertainty, I feel myself getting stronger every day. As long as I can do what I was made to do again, and that is perform and sing for you.”

The single Do not say anything is available from Friday. Grace also announced on Friday that she will give a concert in AFAS Live on October 6. In it she sings exclusively songs by Whitney Houston.
