Anouk lashed out at rapper Ronnie Flex on social media on Saturday. The reason for this was a ‘reaction rap’ by Ronnie Flex to a diss track by Jiggy Djé, Sticks and Hef. In the song he raps, among other things: “You are a whole bitch n**** why do you look like Anouk. These times of the month your tights are full of blood.”
Anouk did not seem to like this and in turn responded to the rapper. This is how she said to Ronnie Flex: ‘Crying over spilled milk. Happy kings day little cryin’ broke bitch ni****. Greetings from your old happy rich bitch ni****.’ (Anouk wrote the n-word in full in her message, ed.)
She later deleted the racist terms in her posts, but screenshots of the original post quickly spread across the internet.
Support act
Anouk’s comment gets a twist: the singer’s messages went down the wrong way with Sor. He decided to no longer provide the support act for Anouk’s two concerts, scheduled for May 31 and June 1. The rapper announced the news himself on Instagram: “Canceled the show for obvious reasons.”
It is not the first time that there has been a commotion because of Anouk’s comments on social media. The singer received a lot of criticism in February when she shared on Threads that people without a male genitalia are not automatically women. ‘Cutting off your pee does not make you a woman. But this is. Am I being canceled now?’ she wrote alongside a photo showing bloody toilet paper.
Celebrities Nikkie de Jager, Raven van Dorst and Duncan Laurence, among others, responded with disgust to the message. There were no apologies from the singer. It is not yet known whether Anouk has found a replacement artist for the supporting act of her concerts.
The singer could not be reached for comment.
