--

Photos from a bystander show that the fire is spreading. The first report came in around 8 p.m. Half an hour later, it was scaled up considerably and a little later to the so-called GRIP 1, which means that coordination between the emergency services is required.

Completely destroyed

The fire is raging on the seventh floor. Photos show that it was first a single house, but that several houses have since been destroyed by the fire.

Firefighters evacuate residents from homes. The A2 and A10 are also closed at the Amstel junction due to smoke development. The cloud of smoke can be seen from a great distance.

The plume of smoke above the building can be seen for miles around:

It concerns the Enter building. It consists of 191 apartments spread over two residential blocks.
