Julian Nagelsmann reveals the complete starting eleven of Germany against the Netherlands

Germany will play the Dutch national team on Tuesday evening with the same starting eleven as against France on Saturday. National coach Julian Nagelsmann revealed this at the press conference on Monday. The Germans impressed against France and won the friendly match 0-2.

“Everyone is fit, apart from one or two minor aches and pains. We have little time to experiment. The match against France was intense, but the plan is that we will play with the same team as against France if everyone is available,” Nagelsmann revealed.

Germany won against France, thanks to a very early goal by Florian Wirtz (after eight seconds) and a goal by Kai Havertz. This meant that sentiment around the German team received a positive boost.

“Things quickly go from negative to positive and vice versa in football,” said Nagelsmann. “But the match against France was only a first step, we want to take the second against the Netherlands.”

The Netherlands played against Scotland last Friday and won 4-0. However, the Dutch team had a difficult time, especially in the first half, as Nagelsmann also saw.

“The game against Scotland was different than the result suggested. It was very open and the Scots could have won.”
“But in general, the Netherlands remains a team that is strong on the ball, with many position changes. It will be a very big challenge for us tomorrow,” the national coach concluded.
