The number of tech vacancies in the Netherlands is growing, but growth lags behind several other European countries. In January and February, the number of tech vacancies increased by 4 percent compared to the same period a year ago.

This is evident from a report published on Thursday by Experis, the tech agency of employment group Manpower. The data comes from the company itself.

In Spain, the number of tech vacancies rose by 9 percent in the first two months of the year, in France by 19 percent and in Norway by over 50 percent.

The number of open tech positions is not increasing everywhere. In the United Kingdom, for example, the number of tech vacancies fell by 10 percent in the first two months of the year.

Most in-demand tech jobs in the Netherlands

According to ManPower, there were 3,826 tech vacancies open in the Netherlands in the first months of this year.

Technical Support Engineers are by far the most in demand in the Netherlands, closely followed by Data Engineers and Software Engineers.
