Our province is rich in beautiful castles, country estates and estates. In the 3-part RTV Utrecht documentary ‘Nobility in Utrecht’ we delve into the rich past of the Utrecht nobility and the cultural heritage they have left behind. The story about the Utrecht nobility is not just about splendor and splendor. Attention is also paid to the role that the nobility played in the history of slavery. Furthermore, descendants of noble families talk about the role that the nobility still plays in society today and how attempts are made to preserve the cultural heritage so that it can be passed on to future generations. The documentary is set on various estates in the province of Utrecht.
