1. Appelpop – Tiel (13 and 14 September)

Appelpop, the largest free music festival in the Netherlands, immerses Tiel again in a musical extravaganza. With an impressive line-up of national and international artists, this festival promises to be a party you will never forget. Douwe Bob, MEROL, De Jeugd Van Today and DI-RECT, among others, are on the line-up.

2. Heideweek – Ede (23 to 31 August)

The Heideweek in Ede celebrates the beautiful heathlands of the Veluwe with nine days of festivities. In addition to music, there are also numerous other activities, including sporting events, markets and theater performances. The Dirty Daddies, Rolf Sanchez, Marco Schuitmaker and OG3NE are among others on the programme.

3. Reuring – Purmerend (28 to 30 June)

5. Metropolis – Rotterdam (7 July)

Metropolis Festival in Rotterdam has been a household name in the Dutch festival calendar for more than three decades. Discover emerging talents and established names in a relaxed atmosphere in the beautiful Zuiderpark.

6. Festival of the Song of Life – Tilburg (8 and 9 June)

The Festival of Life Song in Tilburg brings the best of Dutch life song together on one stage. Be carried away by the emotion and sincerity of Dutch music during this free festival. Expect artists such as Jan Smit, John West, Django Wagner and Frans Bauer at this festival.

7. Four Days Marches – Nijmegen (13 to 19 July)

The party in Nimma is not only with the Glass House. The Four Days Marches in Nijmegen celebrate the famous Nijmegen Four Days Marches with a week full of festive activities. With more than 40 stages throughout the city, there is always something to do. The first names include Benny Rodrigues, Diggy Dex, Frans Bauer, Fresku, Goldkimono, Marco Schuitmaker, Paul Elstak, Radical Redemption and WIES.

8. Maaiveld – Apeldoorn (8 and 9 May)

Maaiveld Festival in Apeldoorn combines music, art and culture in a unique two-day event. Expect surprising performances, interactive art installations and a lively festival market. Douwe Bob, MEROL and The Cool Quest, among others, are coming to play.

9. Wantijpop – Dordrecht (June 8)

Wantijpop in Dordrecht is a free festival that brings together the best national and international acts. With a mix of pop, rock, electronica and more, this festival promises a day full of musical discoveries. They will drop the first names on Saturday, April 6.

10. Temper Blok Party – Bibelot, Dordrecht (April 27)

The Temper Blok Party is also in Dordrecht at Bibelot. The way to celebrate King’s Day with a good dose of music. Discover local talents and enjoy all the Punk/Garage/Rock at this free festival.

11. Liberation Festivals – Throughout the country (May 5)

From Friesland to Limburg, festivals take place everywhere on May 5 to celebrate freedom. With more than 200 performances in fourteen cities throughout the country.
