Electric convertibles are still few and far between, although that is changing. For example, Polestar is working on the 6 and MG previously showed the Cyberster. We can now give a good indication of the price of the latter in the Netherlands.
In September last year, Autovisie was able to show you the new electric roadster for the first time. Although the Cyberster is very different from roadsters such as the Mazda MX-5, BMW Z4 and Fiat 124.
Specifications MG Cyberster
Due to the electric drive, and in particular the battery pack, the MG Cyberster weighs almost 2,000 kilograms. So not a light-footed roadster. The car has a 77 kWh battery pack (440 kilometers of range) and comes with two motorizations. The first is a 335 hp version with only an electric motor on the rear axle.
The other is called MG Cyberster GT and has two electric motors. Together they produce 502 hp. This allows the electric convertible to sprint from 0 to 96 km/h (60 mp/h) in 3.2 seconds. The entry-level shoe does this in about 5 seconds.
The prices in the Netherlands have not yet been communicated, but in England the price tag of the MG Cyberster is already known. Although the purchase price of fuel cars in England differs considerably from that in the Netherlands, this is different for electric cars. This has to do with the bpm.
Price (in the Netherlands)
