MIDDELBURG – On Saturday, April 13, music association ONDA, led by Cora Dellebeke, organizes De Nacht van Nieuwland for the tenth time. What started 10 years ago in the gymnasium in Nieuwland has now grown into a major event in the Zeeland Concert Hall. What has never changed, however, is the enthusiasm with which the association tries to put on a very audience-friendly concert every year.

This year the audience will once again be presented with a wonderful program, with varied music, fun acts and of course some special surprises. Stef van Eenennaam and Lisa van der Pluijm, a dancing couple, are present as special guests. About sixteen years ago they took dance lessons at Van Eijkeren Dancemasters in Middelburg. After a few years they found each other as dance partners and started dancing competitions. They now do this at a national and international level, with great passion and pleasure. They have already won many great prizes. After closing the dance school in Middelburg, they are now affiliated with Janvier Dancemaster in Goes where they assist with dance lessons. They are currently still taking lessons and training with their trainers in Koewacht. From 2019 onwards they often dance at André Rieu’s shows in Amsterdam and Antwerp, and a few weeks ago they were in Paris with the waltz king. Another special event this evening is the tribute to Tannie de Klerk-Bliek. This evening she celebrates her 65th anniversary at ONDA.
