Anouk Franse and Roy Polak are more or less the supervisors these 24 hours. “We can sleep a few hours tonight, but I’m not going to do that,” Roy says. “I like this way too much.” He signals the football players to start the match. “After this there will be a volleyball tournament with friends and family of the other students.”

“This afternoon there was a large playground here for schoolchildren from the municipality of Goes and the surrounding area who could really enjoy themselves, very fun to do,” says Anouk. The CIOS students started at 9:00 am this morning and will continue until 9:00 am the next morning. “We can sleep in two groups, from one to four or from four to seven. Those who stay awake can play Smashball, then we play a board game and then karaoke. It may not be very smart to do that at night, but we can do a little bit.” dance and therefore keep moving,” says Roy. The morning ends with a dance clinic by world champion hip-hop freestyle, DJ/dancer Xam.

Teacher Ariska Tax, involved in organizing the holiday camps of Het Vergeten Kind, emphasizes the importance of extra attention for vulnerable children. She challenged her students to make a positive impact by raising money for the foundation. It took at least 20 students to start an action, but all the students in her class decided to participate voluntarily. During the LOB (Career Orientation Guidance) lessons, the students had the opportunity to prepare their actions, arranging everything themselves, from bingo prizes to sponsors for the event.
