King and Queen received enthusiastically at primary schools Klippeholm and Vesterhavet – HCnieuws

HOOFDDORP The royal couple was received with great enthusiasm on the schoolyard of RKBS Klippeholm on Friday morning around 9 a.m. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima traveled especially to Hoofddorp early this morning to kick off the annual King’s Games.

The king and queen were welcomed by director of RKBS Klippeholm Suzanne Hellings, teacher of CBS Vesterhavet Kim van Weeren and mayor Marianne Schuurmans. The royal couple then walked into the school building, completely decorated in red, white, blue and orange, for the start of the King’s breakfast. Hundreds of students from Klippeholm and Vesterhavet primary schools were eagerly awaiting the high visit. After a short word of welcome, the extensive breakfast could be enjoyed and the King and Queen took their place among the children.

The royal couple gave the official starting signal for the twelfth edition of the annual King’s Games around 9:30 am. Before the opening of the sporting part of the day, Children for Children will perform Daba Die Daba Daa, the King’s Games song of 2024.
