Jac Heinrichs (78) has been affiliated with the Association of Old Drum Corps 90 (VAT90) of the Broederschap St. Sebastianus Herkenbosch since 1990 and was committed to shooting parties. He has also been a volunteer for twenty years at the OKB Entrepreneurship Sounding Board Foundation, an organization that advises Limburg entrepreneurs.

Ell

Lambert Rietjens (72) has been a board member of the Ellona fanfare since 1994. He is responsible for the catering industry, takes care of purchasing, mans the bar and manages volunteers. He was a board member of the Juiste Kien Foundation for fourteen years. He made schedules for the bar services during ki evenings and managed volunteers. Since 2018 he has been a volunteer at the Saint Anthony Abbot parish.

Wilma Moelker-Loos (53) has made a contribution in many areas: for children’s holiday work and Sinterklaas celebrations in Sittard, Red Cross Geleen, parish of Christus’ Ascension H. Joseph Sittard, RUZ Geleen Foundation, Het Buitenhof Gouda Foundation, parish church of H. Antonius Abt Ell and parish federation Emmaüs. She is committed to the neighborhood, the village council, De Zonnebloem, Heart Foundation and the Red Cross.

Haelen

Hermien Hendrikx (66) is committed to IVN, Staatbosbeheer Study Group Leudal, Visitors Center Leudal, Nature Historical Society Limburg and other nature organizations. As a volunteer, she connects people with nature by providing guided tours and supporting courses. Thanks to her, there is a wheelchair path in the Leudal and at the St. Elisabeth care center.

Peter Boonen (66) was chairman of football club RKVV Haelen and is now a board advisor. He previously received the Golden Association Pin of Merits for his efforts. From 2019, Boonen advises the Congregation of Sisters of the Divine Providence Community of the Netherlands. He is the contact person for the Sint Agatha Monastery Life Heritage and the Sint Anna nursing home in Boxmeer. He is also a volunteer at the Congregation of the White Fathers of Cardinal Lavigerie.

Annemiek Huberts (78) has been a volunteer at De Zonnebloem Haelen-Nunhem since 1998. She was a board member and interim chairman for three years. She has been a board member of the Haelen Seniors Association since 2018. She organizes ‘joint meals’ for people over 50, outdoor afternoons and helps with outings. Finally, she has been a member of Toneelgroep Spot-licht since 1991.

Heythuysen

Anny Prinssen-Gubbels (81) is co-founder of the missionary sewing circle of the H. Nicholas parish. She took care of the shipment of goods to missionaries, the church interior, mass vestments and linen. She is also co-organizer of the Christmas campaign. She is also a volunteer at Women’s Association De Waaier, the annual Charity Campaign and she has been a member of Heemkundevereniging Heitse for many years.

Gerda Voorter-van Heugten (75) worked as a cook at Zorgcentrum Beek & Bos for 25 years. She provided unpaid assistance, assisted with activities and excursions for residents and accompanied visits to the doctor or hospital. She was a volunteer at the Sint Ursula School Community for many years and co-founder of De Belhamel playgroup.

Tiny Reynders-Kocken (91) has been a volunteer at the Living Room Project of the Beek & Bos Care Center since 1988. The high number of participants can be attributed to her. She is a hostess, organizes activities, serves coffee and offers a listening ear. She has also picked up guests and brought them home in the past. She was an informal caregiver for her seriously ill husband for twelve years and for her sister for seven years.

Horn

Jan Vesters (71) is the founder, inspirator and volunteer at the artist collective Häorder Amateur Artists 2000. He is also a volunteer at the Roman Catholic federation KANA for the St. Martinus parish. He was committed to closer cooperation between four parishes. He also coordinates the Oud Kerkhof Martinusparochie Horn group, is a volunteer dike guard at the Limburg Water Board and is committed to various associations.

Elly Verstappen-Ruijters (66) was a board member of the Hunsel Women’s Association, secretary of the political party Dorpen-Belang Hunsel and a councilor of the former municipality of Hunsel. She is involved in the Leudal-Pogorzela Citizen Committee Foundation, a partnership with the Polish municipality of Pogorzela. In 2013, she was appointed an honorary citizen of that city by the mayor of Pogorzela.

Ittervoort

Harry Geelen (75) has made a contribution in many areas, for example for the parish, the carnival association and the De Mortel community center. He is also involved with the mixed choir El Puente and is a gun master at the St Margaretha shooting club. He is a board member of the senior choir Zang en Vriendschap and a collector for the Charity Campaign.

Neeritter

Ger Konings (73) has been a volunteer at ToerWielerclub (TWC) ‘Neritter’ since 1978. He was co-organizer of the Neeritter Cycling Tour for fourteen years and co-organizer of the annual tour for groomers. He was a volunteer at the Sterrebosch Care Center in Thorn for several years. He was also committed to sports clubs and the carnival association De Walvaegers.

Roggel

Math Mennen (71) is a board member at the Roggel Village Council and has been a volunteer at the Limburg Police since 2008. He maintains official cars of the Roermond base team. He is also a volunteer at the North and Central Limburg Route Bureau, where he contributed to the walking network in Roggel. He is chairman of the Aetpuntj Roggel Foundation and transports guests from Daycare Jozefhuis Roggel.

Wim Geelen (70) had and has many tasks at football club SV Roggel: including board member, chairman, team leader, youth leader, technical advisor and referee. He was also involved with the Roggel Basic Education Foundation for several years. He is a board member of the Leudal Energy Foundation, responsible for energy saving projects and communication.
