Job description

As an appropriate education consultant, you become an important partner for schools. Your mission? Ensuring that every child receives the most suitable educational place or support. To achieve this, you work closely with teachers, internal supervisors and parents. And with a great staff team that feels like a warm bath.

You put the child first, listen carefully to the wishes of parents and schools, and connect all parties involved – from the social team to the education officer. With your analytical view and strong communication skills, you know how to uncover the core of every issue and ask the right questions. You are great at observing, advising and discussing difficult topics, always with the aim of empowering schools.

In this role you are the connecting factor that brings together not only schools, but network partners in one of our five municipalities with the aim of increasingly inclusive education. You work closely with your colleagues in the staff office to tackle cross-school issues and make progress together.

What else you need to know

You are the first point of contact for schools with complex questions, both about educational content and the approach. You are also a sparring partner for directors and internal supervisors: you help them to identify needs and support questions at school level. You are the contact person for a permanent group of schools in one of our five municipalities.

  • academically trained in psychology, educational sciences or a similar field.
  • familiar with support options in primary education.

Employment conditions

  • work that matters in an educational environment.
  • flexible workplaces and plenty of room for development.
  • salary in accordance with the PO – OOP collective labor agreement, scale 11, with a salary of a minimum of €3,186 and a maximum of €5,862 for full-time employment (40 hours).
  • no less than 10 weeks of holiday per year.
  • an annual contract for a minimum of 32 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent appointment if performance is good.
