On Saturday afternoon, May 11, Jochem Schuurman and Nynke Jaarsma will provide the concert of the month of May. Together they will conquer our hearts with the beautiful combination of oboe and the Skrable organ that is present in De Fontein. This instrument is ideal for making music with other instruments. This will also become clear during this concert.
The works they play are very diverse, from song arrangements (Ach Gott, vom Himmel sieh darein. Du, o schönes Weltgebäude. Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir by the composer Kauffman) to musical works by well-known composers such as JS Bach and Dietrich Buxtehude. Jochem will also demonstrate the organ to us as a solo instrument.
The concert starts at 4:00 PM. The church De Fontein at ds Kuypersstraat 2 in Nijkerk is open from 3.30 pm. The entrance fee is € 10.00 including a drink, it is also possible to pay with a QR code. Admission is free for children up to 15 years old. After the concert there is coffee, tea or soft drinks.
