The fire broke out in the night of Tuesday 2 to Wednesday 3 January in the building on Jan Frederik Vlekkestraat in Roosendaal. Not only the property itself should be considered lost. Immediately after the fire, the police started an investigation and it soon became clear that the fire did not start on its own. Around ten to three, a scooter rider parks his scooter at the company. He then wanders around the property for a while. And around ten to four he can be seen at the gate of the car company.

Two minutes later he takes off and shortly afterwards the smoke starts to spread.
