The meeting of the Groningen Entrepreneurs Academy is made possible by the joint business associations and the municipality of Groningen.

The task of the Groninger Entrepreneurs Academy is to organize free meetings and training for employees, managers and owners in SMEs and retail. The themes vary and on Tuesday, June 18, the “Safe Entrepreneurship” meeting will be organized in collaboration with Veilig Ondernemend Groningen, at which (digital) security will be central.

During the Safe Entrepreneurship meeting, Xander Koppelmans tells his real story as ‘The Hacked Entrepreneur’ and explains how his company, his customers and personal environment were hit by a cyber attack.

Police

In one of the sharing sessions that follows, a cyber specialist from the Northern Netherlands Police region takes visitors through the question of how the Police works. Erik Rutkens will then tell you on behalf of Cyber ​​Security Noord what you can do to protect yourself against cyber attacks.

Automotive

In the second sub-session, especially for the automotive rental industry, Martin Jansen, car rental relationship manager of the Police, talks about the crime present in car rental.

The evening will end with a networking drink where you will, among other things: can take an online security scan.
