Verdaasdonk signs multi-year contract: “The best and most beautiful club in the Netherlands”

Suus Verdaasdonk has signed a new contract. The midfielder from Eibergen signed her first professional contract last April at the age of 17. The Eibergian has broken the expiring contract and extended it by two years until mid-2026. The midfielder is happy with her new contract.

“I am proud that I have signed this contract with FC Twente Women. It is the best and most beautiful club in the Netherlands. I have been a Twente resident since I was young, so it is extra nice that I can sign with this club. I have been associated with the club since I was 14 and started in the youth ranks. It’s great that I can make the step to the first selection.”

Technical Manager René Roord is also pleased to keep Verdaasdonk for the club for longer: “I am very happy that we have been able to extend her contract with Suus. She is getting better and she is now in the national youth selections. We expect growth in her development and that she will also take the next step in this.”

Suus Verdaasdonk (Eibergen, March 15, 2006) started her career at FC Eibergen, the local football club. At the age of 14, she switched to the youth academy of FC Twente Women.
