With starting runner Isayah Boers, Lieke Klaver in second, Isaya Klein Ikkink in third and Femke Bol as final runner, the Netherlands achieved a top performance. Boers starts with a split time of 47.28 and seems to change fifth. Klaver takes over and runs to second place on the 200 meter line. In the second corner, Klaver passes leader Jamaica, is the first to change and runs a super fast split time of 49.57. Klein Ikkink retains first place with a split time of 45.77. Finally, Bol, the leader of Jamaica, runs away like it is nothing with a split time of 49.54 and is the first to cross the finish line with her chest on behalf of the Netherlands in a final time of 03.12.16.

Curious about the second day? This is the program of the World Relay Championships in the Bahamas.
