PSV supporters are preparing for a grand party on Stadhuisplein in Eindhoven on Monday afternoon and evening. But they have to take rain into account during the celebration of the PSV football players, who were crowned national champions on Sunday. Raymond Klaassen from Weerplaza said this on Monday morning in the radio program WAKKER! on Omroep Brabant.

“A disruption is slowly coming from the south towards the Netherlands,” Klaassen said. “The southern provinces will have to deal with this. But it is all happening very slowly. I therefore think that it will still be dry in the afternoon in most of Brabant. The rain area will only move into Eindhoven sometime at the beginning of the evening. “It may remain dry during the ceremony, but the party afterwards will be somewhat wet. That’s a shame.”

The maximum temperature will rise to 17 or 18 degrees this Monday and according to the weatherman it will not be cold in the evening: “It will be about 14 degrees and there will not be much wind.”

“The days around Ascension Day look fine.”

The last rain will move south on Tuesday. Then we will have a day with a lot of clouds. “But the sun will manage to break through during Tuesday and it will be 17 degrees in the afternoon,” Klaassen expects.

After that, according to the weatherman, a series of dry days awaits us. “Many people then have a long weekend off, because of Ascension Day. Those days all look fine, with temperatures of around 20 degrees and sunny periods.”
